  • Gas and Electrical Safety Checks: Your property must undergo these checks every 24 months.

No, there isn't a subscription model for our services. At Gaslec Safety, we believe in offering our clients the utmost flexibility. Instead of binding you to a subscription, we want you to choose Gaslec Safety as your preferred provider for maintaining compliance with the 2021 Residential Tenancies Act at your own discretion and convenience. Can Gaslec Safety handle both residential and commercial properties?

On average, most of our visits for safety checks fall within a time frame of one to two hours. However, it's essential to understand that some properties, especially larger ones, might take slightly longer to ensure thoroughness and accuracy.

What happens if a safety issue is identified during the inspection?

Safety is our primary concern. If during our inspection we identify any safety issues, rest assured we handle them with the utmost professionalism and with safety at the forefront of our actions.

Do you provide free replacements for faulty smoke alarms?

As part of our smoke alarm safety check service, if we identify any faulty battery-operated or hard-wired smoke alarms, we will replace them at no additional cost to you. Our commitment is to ensure every property has fully functional smoke alarms to offer optimal safety and peace of mind.

Can I get a discount if I sign-up for your services, having multiple properties?

Absolutely! We understand the unique demands and responsibilities of rental providers with multiple properties. As such, we're pleased to offer a special discount to cater to your needs.

For rental providers with multiple properties (five or more), we offer a 5% discount on the following packages:

Are your safety check services available in my area?

Our safety check services predominantly cater to the entire Melbourne metropolitan area. If you're located within this region, you can confidently make use of our services.

For properties situated in outer Melbourne areas, we might still be able to assist you. While our primary service area is the Melbourne metropolitan region, we do occasionally make exceptions for the outer areas based on specific considerations.
